Blank Canvas

Blank

Canvas

Sometimes a blank canvas is best.

In this case, a hoodie with room to spare, paired with a sneaker that is somewhere between chunky and sleek, set the tone for a tonal outfit that gives “whiteout” a whole new meaning. Thanks to the always reliable mytheresa.com for having all my current new favorites in stock in bright white.

White on white is a favorite color combination of mine, particularly now…in an effort to lighten up for Summer, crisp whites are a fresh departure from New York Noir. Leave it to mytheresa.com to have elevated versions of just the items I’m craving. All-white versions of pieces I already own in their all-black counterparts, think oversized hoodie, not-so-basic sneakers and distressed denim.
(I cut the bottoms of these jeans on my own for an exaggerated crop fit)

My new Balenciaga pieces create a perfect base layer to interchange with dresses, denim and accessories. Pieces with a luxe twist on a “basic”, all great on their own but when paired together like here, creating a clean slate style of dressing that I love for a truly monochrome look.

Which look is your favorite look?
